| Area 12, Special Olympics Bergen County Aquatics Competition will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009. It will a duel meet with Special Olympics Hudson County, Area 1. The event will be held at the Bruce D. Walters Recreational Pool 507 West Street in Union City, NJ VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED. All volunteers are requested to be at the pool by 7:45 AM. Please remember to bring a Photo ID. Two other forms of ID will be accepted in a Photo ID is not available. You will not be in the pool, but should wear light weight clothes while poolside. | On Saturday, April 25, 2009 Special Olympics athletes from Bergen County will participate in the 2009 Area 12 Track and Field Competition in Tenafly, NJ. Athletes will be competing to advance to the state finals at the College of New Jersey in June. VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED. All volunteers are requested to be at the Tenafly High School track and field complex by 8:00 AM. The track is located at the corner of Jefferson Ave. and Riveredge Rd. The registratioin area will be at the north end of the football field at the field house on Sunset Lane. Please remember to bring your Photo ID.
